A staff check and a customer report are different records. A check is an authenticated staff action. Feedback is an anonymous customer submission through a public sign. A customer report does not establish that a staff member inspected the room, and a staff check does not independently prove every surface was cleaned.
Use Rest Easy alongside your cleaning procedures, supervision and immediate safety response. The platform supports accountability and recordkeeping; it does not certify hygiene, replace risk assessment or guarantee that accidents cannot occur.
Your daily rhythm: review priorities, carry out the physical work, record the check, respond to reported problems and review outstanding exceptions. Staff can complete authorised checks without an individual cleaner being assigned to each scheduled window.
Choose the right guide for your role
- Business administrator — Head Office Administrator: set up locations, manage users and review account information for your organisation.
- Area Manager: review and manage only the business units assigned to you.
- Unit Manager: manage the site you are authorised to use.
- Cleaning staff — Staff: inspect rooms, record checks and use the issue actions permitted to your account.
Your menu shows the actions available to you. A missing menu may reflect your role, assigned locations or available features; ask your administrator before requesting wider access.
